Description

Gold Mountain 40' × 80' × 21' Double-Truss Storage Shelter with 8' Truss Spacing

Product Overview

Create approximately 3,200 square feet of covered space for agricultural equipment, vehicles, construction materials, tools, and commercial inventory. This Gold Mountain storage shelter combines a reinforced double-truss frame with closely spaced eight-foot arches and your choice of PE or heavy-duty PVC covering.

Matching 13.1-by-13.1-foot mechanical roll-up doors at the front and rear support convenient drive-through access. A separate walk-through door provides everyday entry, while the 40-foot span and 21-foot peak accommodate trucks, trailers, tractors, industrial machinery, and large storage arrangements.

Key Features

  • Approximately 3,200 square feet: Provides substantial capacity for equipment, vehicles, materials, and inventory.
  • Forty-foot clear span: Accommodates wide machinery and side-by-side storage layouts.
  • Eighty-foot length: Creates room for multiple storage zones or drive-through organization.
  • Double-truss construction: Reinforces the frame for agricultural, industrial, and commercial applications.
  • Eight-foot truss spacing: Provides closely positioned structural support throughout the shelter length.
  • Eleven arch assemblies: Create a reinforced framework across the complete structure.
  • Hot-dip galvanized steel: Helps protect the structural tubing against rust and corrosion.
  • Dual equipment doors: Mechanical roll-up doors at both ends support efficient entry and exit.
  • Large 13.1' × 13.1' openings: Accommodate many trucks, trailers, tractors, and construction machines.
  • Separate walk-through door: Allows routine personnel access without opening an equipment door.
  • Twenty-one-foot peak height: Provides generous clearance for tall machinery and bulk storage.
  • Multiple fabric options: Choose economical PE or heavier PVC covering based on the intended application.
  • Pipe-and-ratchet tensioning: Helps maintain a tight, properly positioned exterior cover.
  • Expansion-bolt anchoring: Includes anchoring hardware intended for a compatible solid foundation.
  • Customizable trim colors: Available in white with green or red edge detailing.

Warranty

  • PE cover: 2-year warranty
  • PVC cover: 8-year warranty

Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer’s installation, anchoring, maintenance, and weather-use requirements.

Foundation and Anchoring

This shelter is supplied with expansion bolts instead of ground stakes. Expansion bolts require a compatible solid foundation, such as properly designed concrete.

Stake pegs for suitable soil installations are available separately. The anchoring system must match the foundation, soil conditions, exposure, and applicable local structural requirements.

Confirm permits, setbacks, zoning restrictions, and building-code requirements with the local authority before installation.

Cover and Snow Maintenance

Maintain uniform cover tension to prevent loose areas where rain or snow could collect. Inspect and retighten the pipe-and-ratchet system after initial installation and periodically as temperatures change.

Covers installed during colder weather should be checked again when temperatures rise because the fabric may relax. Remove accumulated snow promptly whenever it does not slide from the roof naturally.

Regularly inspect the fabric, trusses, anchors, doors, ratchets, and connection hardware, particularly after severe weather. The manufacturer-listed wind and snow ratings depend on correct assembly, anchoring, cover tension, maintenance, and site conditions.

Assembly and Site Planning

A four-person crew can typically complete assembly in approximately four days after the foundation and site are prepared. Allow additional time for unloading, inventorying components, installing anchors, assembling doors, and applying final cover tension.

Choose a firm, level, well-drained site with sufficient working room around the structure. Verify underground and overhead utility clearances before installation. Professional installation is recommended.
