Description

Product Overview

Provide private restroom access for jobsites, farms, ranches, event properties, outdoor facilities, and other locations with this compact Bastone dual-stall portable restroom building.

The unit contains two separate restroom compartments, allowing two people to use the facility simultaneously. Each private room includes a flushing toilet, sink, interior light, ventilation fan, vent, paper-towel dispenser, and outward-opening access door.

A Q235 steel frame supports two-inch insulated wall and roof panels, while a durable PVC-based floor surface provides a practical interior for routine restroom use. Built-in lifting lugs and forklift pockets assist with professional unloading and relocation.

Unlike a conventional tank-equipped portable toilet, this restroom requires a pressurized water supply and an approved wastewater arrangement. Electrical, plumbing, wastewater, foundation, anchoring, and site-preparation requirements must be completed before the unit is placed into service.

Key Features

  • Two private restroom stalls: Allows two occupants to use separate enclosed rooms simultaneously.
  • Two flushing toilets: Supplier-listed 1.6-gallon-per-flush fixtures provide conventional restroom operation.
  • Two sinks: Supports handwashing when connected to an appropriate water supply and gray-water outlet.
  • Interior lighting: Provides illumination inside each enclosed restroom.
  • Ventilation fans and vents: Support air movement through the two compact rooms.
  • Private outward-opening doors: Provides separate access to each restroom compartment.

Site installation Required

Published structural figures are supplier-provided and should not be interpreted as confirmation of local building-code compliance, stamped engineering, or suitability for every installation site.

Private Restroom Layout

The building is divided into two independent restroom compartments. Each room provides approximately 11.4 square feet of published interior area and has its own outward-opening entrance.

The dual-room configuration may be useful for:

  • Construction and contractor jobsites
  • Agricultural workplaces
  • Farms and ranches
  • Equestrian facilities
  • Outdoor wedding and event properties
  • Farmers markets
  • Seasonal attractions
  • Campgrounds with utility access
  • Workshops and commercial yards
  • Warehouses
  • Remote work areas
  • Temporary facilities during renovations

The building should not be represented as a completely self-contained porta-potty. It requires suitable water, wastewater, electrical, placement, and servicing arrangements.

Water-Supply Requirements

The toilets and sinks require a pressurized water supply. Chery Industrial specifies connection to city water or water supplied by an appropriate well-pump system.

The published inlet connection is ½-inch PEX.

Before installation, determine:

  • Available water pressure and flow
  • Distance from the water source
  • Pipe sizing
  • Backflow-prevention requirements
  • Shutoff-valve locations
  • Freeze protection
  • Required permits and inspections
  • Whether the water source is approved for restroom use

A licensed plumber should confirm the final water-supply arrangement.

Water lines, trenching, pumps, pressure tanks, backflow devices, heat tape, insulation, and installation labor are not included unless specifically stated in the final written order.

Wastewater Requirements

The two toilets discharge through a supplier-listed three-inch black-water connection. Sink water uses a separate 1¼-inch gray-water outlet.

Wastewater must be directed to an approved:

  • Sanitary sewer connection
  • Properly designed septic system
  • Professionally sized and serviced external holding-tank system
  • Other locally approved wastewater facility

An onboard sewage holding tank is not listed as included.

Do not discharge sewage or gray water onto the ground, into a storm drain, or into an unapproved drainage system. Installation must comply with applicable sanitation, plumbing, wastewater, and environmental requirements.

If external tanks are used, their capacity and servicing frequency must be determined according to expected attendance, water consumption, operating duration, local regulations, and pumping access.

Electrical Requirements

The restroom includes supplier-listed lighting and powered ventilation. Chery Industrial specifies a 110–220V electrical range, a 13–16-amp breaker specification, and three-core 2.5-square-millimeter wiring.

The customer must arrange for a licensed electrician to supply and complete the required wiring and electrical connection.

The final installation should address:

  • Available voltage
  • Circuit capacity
  • Grounding
  • GFCI protection
  • Moisture-rated components
  • Disconnecting means
  • Exterior conduit and cable protection
  • Local electrical codes
  • Required permits and inspections

Do not connect the building using an improvised extension-cord arrangement or perform electrical work without a qualified professional.

Ventilation and Interior Conditions

Ventilation fans and passive vents support airflow through the two enclosed compartments. They do not guarantee an odor-free, condensation-free, or climate-controlled interior.

Interior conditions will depend on:

  • Outdoor temperature and humidity
  • Frequency of use
  • Cleaning schedule
  • Fan operation
  • Wastewater maintenance
  • Water leaks
  • Door operation
  • Placement in direct sunlight
  • Availability of shade
  • Ongoing maintenance

Heating and air conditioning are not included. Insulated panels slow heat transfer but do not make the restroom comfortable in every season.

Cold-Weather Use

The supplier publishes a minimum pipe working temperature of 14°F. This figure does not mean that water-filled plumbing can safely remain unprotected during freezing conditions.

Before temperatures approach freezing:

  • Shut off the water supply when appropriate
  • Drain vulnerable plumbing
  • Winterize toilets, sinks, and waste lines
  • Protect supply and wastewater connections
  • Follow the fixture manufacturer’s winterization procedures
  • Have a qualified plumber prepare the system when necessary

This unit should not be advertised as freeze-proof or automatically suitable for year-round Kansas operation. Damage caused by frozen plumbing may not be covered by warranty.

Structure and Weather Considerations

The restroom uses a painted steel frame and two-inch insulated composite wall and roof panels.

Chery Industrial publishes a 40-mph wind-load figure. Because this is a relatively modest rating, the building should not be represented as storm-rated, hurricane-rated, tornado-resistant, or suitable for every exposed outdoor location.

A site-specific installation plan should consider:

  • Prevailing winds
  • Wind exposure
  • Appropriate anchoring
  • Foundation design
  • Soil conditions
  • Surface drainage
  • Nearby buildings and trees
  • Snow and ice accumulation
  • Local structural requirements

Chery also publishes a 125-pound-per-square-foot snow-load figure. Customers requiring a documented structural rating should obtain the applicable manufacturer documentation before purchase and confirm acceptance with the appropriate local authority.

This restroom is not a storm or emergency shelter.

Site Preparation and Foundation

Place the restroom on a firm, level, stable, and well-drained surface capable of supporting the approximately 1,339-pound unit, its occupants, fixtures, utility connections, and normal service loads.

Potential foundation options may include:

  • A properly designed concrete pad
  • A structurally suitable paved surface
  • An engineered equipment pad
  • Another locally approved supporting foundation

The appropriate solution depends on soil conditions, drainage, utility routing, anchoring requirements, frost depth, local codes, and intended duration of use.

Plan enough clearance for:

  • Both outward-opening doors
  • Plumbing and electrical connections
  • Waste-tank or sewer access
  • Cleaning and servicing
  • Delivery equipment
  • Forklift access
  • Future relocation
  • Emergency access where required

Foundation construction, anchoring, steps, ramps, utility trenching, and site restoration are not included unless specifically stated in the final written order.

Accessibility and Code Considerations

This standard two-stall model is not represented as ADA compliant or wheelchair accessible. The approximately 33-inch doors and compact interior rooms should not be marketed as accessible restroom facilities.

Public, commercial, employee, and event applications may require an accessible restroom in addition to this unit.

Before purchase, customers should verify:

  • ADA and accessibility requirements
  • Building and plumbing codes
  • Health-department requirements
  • Employee-facility standards
  • Occupancy and fixture-count requirements
  • Permits and inspections
  • Required handwashing provisions
  • Signage requirements
  • Accessible routes and ramps
  • Wastewater regulations

Approval in one jurisdiction does not guarantee approval in another.

Delivery and Unloading

The restroom ships by heavy freight with published shipping dimensions of approximately 85 inches by 51 inches by 95 inches and a published shipping weight of approximately 1,339 pounds.

A forklift or equivalent appropriately rated unloading machine is required at delivery.

Before ordering, confirm:

  • Delivery address accessibility
  • Road and driveway conditions
  • Overhead clearance
  • Gate width
  • Turning space
  • Ground firmness
  • Equipment availability
  • Operator availability
  • Final placement route
  • Utility locations

Standard residential liftgate service should not be assumed capable of unloading this product.

Damage should be documented before the freight carrier leaves whenever safely possible.

Lifting and Relocation

The building includes forklift pockets and supplier-listed lifting lugs. These features support professional handling but do not eliminate the need for an approved lifting plan.

Only qualified personnel using appropriately rated equipment, rigging, and attachment methods should lift or relocate the restroom.

Before moving the building:

  • Disconnect water, wastewater, and electrical services
  • Empty and secure all plumbing
  • Remove loose supplies
  • Lock or secure the doors
  • Inspect the frame, lifting lugs, and forklift pockets
  • Confirm total lifting weight
  • Establish a clear travel path
  • Keep personnel away from suspended loads

Never lift an occupied restroom or move the unit while utility connections remain attached.

Important Use Information

This product is a plumbed portable restroom building. It should not be represented as:

  • A self-contained chemical toilet
  • A recreational-vehicle bathroom
  • A towable restroom trailer
  • An ADA-accessible restroom
  • A permanently code-approved building
  • A restroom requiring no utility connections
  • A freeze-proof facility
  • A climate-controlled structure
  • A storm shelter
  • A residential bathroom
  • A sewage-treatment system

Toilet paper, paper towels, soap, waste tanks, fresh-water tanks, pumps, utility lines, steps, ramps, foundations, anchors, electrical service, plumbing labor, and installation labor are not included unless expressly stated in the final written order.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Establish a cleaning and inspection schedule based on the number of users and frequency of operation.

Regularly inspect:

  • Toilets and flushing mechanisms
  • Faucets and sinks
  • Water-supply connections
  • Black-water and gray-water outlets
  • Pipe seals and fittings
  • Signs of leaks
  • Floor condition
  • Door alignment and locks
  • Interior lights
  • Ventilation fans
  • Passive vents
  • Wall and roof panels
  • Steel-frame coating
  • Anchors and foundation
  • Lifting lugs and forklift pockets
  • Exterior sealants
  • Signs of corrosion or impact damage
  • Winterization components

Clean surfaces with products confirmed as compatible with the fixtures, floor covering, painted steel, PVC board, and composite panels.

Keep the walking surface clean and dry whenever possible. A slip-resistant finish does not eliminate the risk of slipping on water, mud, cleaning solution, ice, or other contaminants.

Promptly address plumbing leaks, wastewater odors, damaged wiring, failed fans, loose panels, corrosion, or structural movement. Electrical and plumbing repairs should be completed by qualified professionals.
